Family time is my favorite, it's right up there with sitting quietly in a tree stand, waiting for the perfect buck to wander my way. Matter of fact, my favorite TV show is North American Whitetail and my favorite movie is Jeremiah Johnson. My wife, Lisa, thinks there's a theme there. We have two grown children, Meigan and Logan, and a growing population of grandchildren. When they asked me that question about Oreos, all I could think was, "I can't say 'Chubby Bunny' without cookies in my mouth!"

Married to Trish, dad to Whitney, grandfather to Isaiah, I get to serve Church of the Cove as a deacon and I'm usually out front on Sunday mornings to welcome you to church. I love to help people in any way that I can. Most will tell you that I would absolutely be the Joker in Batman and I'm really an Andy Griffith fan. I'm the strong, quiet type, guess that's why I'd be the superhero, The Incredible Hulk. When I was younger, I'd be listening to Raise Your Hands by Bon Jovi, and might be caught singing along now if it's on the radio. I love to hunt, and if I were to be in the winter Olympics, you'd find me snow skiing.

I only like three desserts: hot, warm and cold. The thing that makes me happiest is getting things done – whoever needs it. Sometimes I'm the one who does the doing, other times, I just set it up and hand it off. My favorite movie of all time is Dave, and sort of wish that scenario was possible. If I were one of Batman's archenemies, it would have to be Joker. My wife, Faye, says you can spend some time with me to figure that one out. They asked me how many Oreos I could put in my mouth and still say "Chubby Bunny," I told them I didn't know, but I'd love to try that with milk. I think my grandsons, Nick and Dylan would help me out with that.

Diet Coke is my drink, but I'm not adverse to a Diet Dr. Pepper every now and then. Water? I heard it rusts stuff; don't want to take any chances. I saw Gone With the Wind as a teen and have loved it ever since. (No, that wasn't when it first came out!) That might be why I love Charleston, South Carolina as a vacation spot, because of all the history that lives on there. I'm a woman of many words, even wrote a book, and am so blessed that my husband, Jack, supports me in that! Between us we have three grown sons, all married. Two grandsons and a granddaughter round out the family…oh, and Casey, the toy poodle.

At home, I'm husband to Carolyn and dad to three grown children. You might even find me watching an episode of NCIS, too. God has called me to serve Church of the Cove as an elder and I consider it an honor to do so. Organization is my thing, so that's the area I handle. When younger, while others were listening to that new brand of music called Rock 'n Roll, I was enjoying the soothing sounds of jazz. Many think I'm staid and laid back, but watch out when the humor is unleashed. My favorite movie of all time is Shane, with Alan Ladd, but if I were a superhero, it would have to be Mr. Incredible. When asked which Winter Olympic sport I'd participate in, my only possible choice was "Consumption of Hot Chocolate."

Blessings? Yes! I'm blessed to be the husband of Jenny and father to four great grown children. I am blessed to serve Church of the Cove as a deacon, too. When I'm not working or with the family, you might find me watching an episode of NCIS or a repeat of It's a Wonderful Life. I love the simplicity of life in the past – when people depended more on God and each other. If I were a superhero, you'd see me webbing across town as Spiderman, but if I were an archenemy, it would be Lex Luther, trying to take Superman out of the picture.

I try to see the good in everyone and encourage the best in them – that might be what I like about the America's Got Talent TV show, that even when an act is not great, they are encouraged to do something more. Prayer is very important to me. Fortunately, my wife, Dottie, is as passionate about prayer as I am and is a wonderful support to me. We have five children, all grown. Remember the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey? I loved it. Were you to find me in the role of superhero, it would likely be Batman – quiet and unassuming until the time is right.

I love serving people and you'll often find me visiting someone I know who is in the hospital or stuck at home. My wife, Norma will tell you that when I'm at home, you'll find me either watching a CSI TV show or a John Wayne movie. Nothing like the Duke! If I were one of Batman's enemies, it would surely be the Penguin (hehehehe). But seriously, I'd love to be able to visit ancient Egypt. The things they did and the culture fascinates me.

I am so blessed to be married to my best friend, Chuck and have two of the most amazing daughters, Hope & Abby. I serve at Church of the Cove as the Children's Minister and am so excited to see God's vision for our kids to not only learn ABOUT Jesus but that they will KNOW Jesus for who He really is to them personally. Sometimes you'll see me running on the trail in Townsend, that's because I want to stay fit – and probably because I dived into a dessert! I love sweets! When I was younger, I pretended to be the Bionic Woman, but I don't run as fast as her. When asked about my favorite time in history, I have to say I always wanted to be Laura Ingalls or a cowgirl. I'm actually pretty good with a .22 – but really, I didn't think I'd hit the chicken.

Being on the go is what makes me tick. I love doing things to help people – especially when it helps them see how much God loves them. I served in the U.S. Army and that training in logistics has helped me in serving God in Haiti. Back when my wife Michelle and I were in school, Knocking on Heaven's Door was what I'd be listening to on the radio. Now, when I do get to relax with her and our two teen kids, Dustin and Ashton, it's NCIS you'll find me watching.

People think I'm quiet and reserved and that's the plan. What they don't know is the cartoon character I think I would most be like is the Tasmanian Devil, and if I were an archenemy of Batman, it would be the Joker. I love to laugh, but even more I love my family and I love seeking God's plans. I am rather laid back, my favorite song in school was California Dreamin', but helping to raise six kids -- life has often been very busy.

My wife, LaDonna, and I have loved Townsend for years and are blessed to be have been able to move here a couple years ago. Helping people really gets me going. When relaxing at home you might find me engrossed in a Criminal Minds marathon – unless my favorite movie, Gone With the Wind is on! I love living at this point in history and love my life now, but if I could take folks back to the 60s that would be cool. The world was a bit of a better place and we still had air-conditioning.

I've served our nation in the United States Marine Corps and now I serve God through helping people. I love to build things and visit with people. I love riding my motorcycle and pets are very special to me. Fortunately, my wife, Marcia, has the same love of riding motorcycles and the same love of cats that I do. No, we don't take the cats on the bike -- that would be way too crowded! My favorite movie is Forrest Gump, "Run Forrest!" If I were to go back in history, I'd like to visit the United States during the time of the Civil War. Trying to understand a nation at war with itself is hard.

Diet Dr. Pepper is the drink for me, and anytime anyone wants to visit Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, I'm in! I love vacationing at the beach, and my husband, Jimmy is always up for a game of golf. Take me back in time in history? Make it that time when the Tudors reigned. My favorite movie of all time is Gone With the Wind, and if I were an archenemy of Batman, I'd be the Riddler. I love kids, especially the ten-year-old Jared that's mine, all mine!

I love stale Oreo's, could probably eat a dozen at a time. My favorite movie of all time is Gladiator, but if I had to choose a cartoon hero, I'd be Charlie Brown. Back in the 70s, I rocked out to Lynyrd Skynyrd and had not a care in the world. If I were to go back and revisit history, that's where I'd go. For now, I'll kick back and enjoy life with my sweetheart and wife of over 26 years, my three grown children, Kyle, Bryan and Hannah, and watching American Pickers when I can.

I love Diet Mountain Dew and the beach. That's the one place I don't feel guilty kicking back completely and letting my mind wander. I have a passion to worship God through music and scripture reading and memorization – and I love to share that with others. My favorite movie of all time is Shall We Dance. When I was a teen, you'd find me listening to We Are the Champions by Queen. Now I relax with my husband, Darren and my three grown children, Kyle, Bryan and Hannah.

Many of you know me as the "Crazy Love" Guy, sharing with you reasons to be involved in a small group studying Francis Chan's book, Crazy Love. There's much more to me than that, though! I'm married to the beautiful Lisa and between us we have seven children (and some grands, too.) I love watching Channel 8 News, because it means I get to see my brother Alan work. My passion is working with students because I believe when kids this age "get it" as opposed to going with the flow, God can really take them and use them to the max. I was asked about stuffing my mouth with Oreos and saying "chubby bunny" – I'd never say that! I've had a really bad rabbit experience as a child. But you can still pass the Oreos.
