We can now offer three simple ways to give while doing what you normally do. Shop.

We all have to do it. Shop. Whether it's locally for our groceries or online for special things, we shop. Now you can support Church of the Cove while you're doing just that.

Locally, if you shop at Kroger and use your Kroger Rewards Card, you can see that a portion of your purchase goes to the church. Details here.

If you shop on Amazon, you can be sure that a portion of your purchase goes to the church. Details here.

If you're searching for something -- use Goodsearch and a donation will be given every time you look for anything! Using GoodShop to find deals will create a donation for Church of the Cove, too.

Why do we give to the local church?

"The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it..." —Psalm 24:1

As followers of Christ, we believe that we are simply stewards (managers) of God's resources because He is the owner of everything. Throughout scripture, we are reminded of the importance of giving back a portion of what God has so generously provided. The Bible tells us that giving is an act of worship that should be done with a spirit of thanksgiving.

How can you give?

At Church of the Cove we have several ways that you can give to God's work through your tithes and offerings.

You can give by check on Sundays when the offering is taken, you can mail a check to our office or you can give here online.

Please know that the online giving does not make a distinction regarding a debit card or a credit card. We do strongly suggest that no one use a credit card unless it is paid off every month. The Bible speaks in Proverbs 22:7 about “…the borrower [being] servant to the lender.” We do not wish our congregation to go into debt by tithing on a credit card.

Where does my money go?

COTC has over 30 Outreach Ministries that we support on a regular basis. We are involved in helping our local community, regional missions, as well as international missions in India and Haiti. We are constantly looking for where God is working and get involved.
